"Conjuration 17" is the newest iteration in a series of experimental IPAs to be used as a playground to try out anything and everything related to hoppy beers! With each iteration, we are trying different ingredients and processes with an ultimate goal of using these experiments to elevate all of the beer we produce.

This particular version is an 8% Double IPA brewed with oats and hopped with the classic combination of Citra and Mosaic. This beer features a modified grain bill, whirlpool temperature and an increased hop charge when compared to our normal process.

We get it, a Citra & Mosaic DIPA doesn't sound like the most experimental thing we've ever done. We wanted to keep as much of this beer controlled so that we could really see what the hot-side changes we made do to the end product. Also, who doesn't love Citra and Mosaic?

Tasting Notes

This beer gives off huge citrus, passion fruit and mixed berry notes. It drinks incredibly soft and crushable with only front-palate bitterness showing.
