Each Beast A God is our 8.5% double stout with coffee from our good friends @morningroastinc and is one of our favourite beers we make. 

This version highlights an El Salvador Washed Red Bourbon coffee varietal. (There is no actual bourbon in it.)

"Washed" coffee has had the fruit removed and the remaining mucilage soaked in water to remove impurities. 'Removing the fruit' means the coffee cherries are de-pulped to remove the pulp and mucilage. The seeds are soaked in water for 24-36 hours to soften the mucilage and remove it. The coffee beans are washed with water and dried in the sun.
