"Depraver" is a new 6.5% Hazy IPA we made in collaboration with our friends from Yakima Chief. It's been brewed with oats and wheat and was hopped with a juicy combination of Superdelic, Mosaic, Nelson Hyperboost and Citra Dynaboost.

This collaboration allowed us the opportunity to really test out how we could integrate liquid hop products into our recipes. 

Dynaboost (formerly known as YCH 702) is added hot side to the whirlpool while Hyperboost (formerly known as YCH 701) is added cold side post fermentation with the dry hop.

Finding the right level is the trick. They maximize 'survivable' hop compounds without adding solid plant matter and are designed to deliver variety-specific hop character more efficiently than pellets. Ultimately, they drive more aroma and saturated hop flavour without adding bitterness. In other words, they add all the good stuff we want without adding the earthy bitterness we want less of.

Our plan going forward is to only use these products in certain scenarios and sparingly in addition to T90 pellets as a way of amplifying what we love about each hop variety. Depraver takes things a step further to find that line. We hope you enjoy!
